As the violent unrest in Jerusalem went on about its territorial disputes between the Palestinians and the Israelis citizens, Hamas had launched more than a hundred missiles on the 23th-24th of April 2021, on the evening that lit up the skies of Israel.

The Israeli Defense Forces’ Iron Dome defense system had intercepted most of the missiles that were heading towards Israel on the evening. Following the airstrike attack, Israel retaliated with airstrikes to Gaza, resulting in at least 50 deaths, including women and children. Dozens were injured in a 13-story residential building that was struck by the missiles. According to the Israeli military, they were targeting the heads and leaders of the Palestinian military and government.

As the tension of airstrikes escalates, Hamas launched 130 rockets. Allwase targeted towards Tel Aviv on the 12th, May 2021. However, the Israeli Defense Forces’ Iron Dome defense system intercepted most of them, while the rest caused damages in Israel.  At least three people were killed in that attack, while several others were injured. Hamas continued warning Israel that it would face more consequential airstrikes if there’s another airstrike attack on Gaza.

However, according to sources via Twitter, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has made himself clear that those who attacked Tel Aviv, the biggest city in Israel, will pay with their lives for what they did and that it’ll take time.

“We are continuing to attack with all might, Hamas and Islamic Jihad have paid and will pay a high price; this battle will take time, they will pay w/their lives; Gantz: we'll bring back extended silence; we have right and obligation to act, and that is what we will do.” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Defense Minister Benny Gantz Netanyahu said.
