On Wednesday, April 7, 2021, at 9 a.m, Adamson university implemented procedures that would ease parents’ pressure to pay tuition fees for the midterms.

Like in the previous guidelines, the schedule will greatly benefit the students as they are given a break from synchronous and asynchronous classes during the exam week in order to prepare for their tests as well as to give ample time for students to catch up on their submissions.

“No synchronous and asynchronous classes may be conducted during the examination period. Students are only required to attend scheduled examinations during the week.” the memorandum read.

Because of the current situation and the ongoing pandemic that has gravely affected students and their families financially, the “No Permit, No Exam”  policy is still voided by the University so students can still sit through with their exams despite non-payment of tuition fees. However, grades will not be posted in their e-learn account unless paid for the term.

Faculty members must also inform their students to attend their exams on their designated dates and times.

Although they have implemented a strict rule on following the exams’ dates, the University has also considered and advised students who may be affected by conflicts with exam schedules to communicate with their respective faculty members and request a new arrangement through special examination.

The unified exams should only be conducted on Blackboard Learn, the online platform that the University has been using since the beginning of online classes. Colleges and departments of the University were given the freedom to choose whether they would oversee the students by assigning proctors during the examinations.
